On this, our fourth month
Since our we know,
So far, yet so near...
We both vowed to love
And live in accord
With the light flowing through us,
Our souls both adored.
To love is to embrace
From the peaks to the valleys,
Our moments of joy
And forays down dark alleys.
Love is dynamic -
‘Tis moving and flowing,
It lives in the moment
And only through knowing.
I certainly fall short
In loving this way
From moment to moment
Each and every day.
Yet as I reflect
I want you to know
That in spite of my protests,
Drama and show,
I love you as surely
As day turns to night.
You teach me to love
In spite of my fright.
We parry, we quarrel
And each know we are right!
RIGHT FOR EACH OTHER,
That’s the true sight!
As tolerance smoothes encounters
And hawk moves to dove,
We are leading each other
Ever deeper in LOVE.
Now this rhyming ditty
May seem simple and slough
But let me assure you
‘Tis heart felt and true.
There is none but you
In the whole universe,
With whom I would rather
Complete this traverse.

We’ve had our ups and downs,
This we both know,
Through it all our love Still managed to grow
Different thoughts we had About many things,
But our love for each other,
Had no attached strings.
